A photo series of huts, shelters, bothies, and refuges encountered in the landscape, some in better states of repair than others. They speak of simplicity and transcience; a deep awareness of both the beauty and the ferocity of the elements. Many were once dwellings of long gone people whose roots went deep into the land. I have found The Inner Hut in a few of them, just as countless others no doubt have when seeking sanctuary from the storm.
